The TCR-9 weapon (i.e. Tactical Civil Rifle – caliber 9 mm) is a self-loading weapon developed for civilian use. It is primarily intended for sports or conditional shooting and for the protection of health and property. The carbine is designed in the 9mm Luger caliber, the performance of which provides a satisfying shooting pleasure without excessive recoil, while still being effective for defensive purposes up to 100 m, and it can be fired at all ranges approved for pistol cartridges.
The weapon is equipped with a fixed stock and a 4x picatinny rail (according to the MIL STD 1913 standard) intended for fixing sights and other tactical accessories of the weapon.
The TCR-9 rifle works on the principle of a classic “dynamic” breech with a straight striker, firing from the front position.
The rifle has a completely new non-traditional design and it is not possible to convert it into a fully automatic weapon without a complete reconstruction of the entire weapon. A double-row magazine inserted into the pistol grip of the weapon is used.
