HAND GRENADE LAUNCHER – SAG-30

Similar to the RAG-30 grenade launcher, where the breech mechanism is adapted for firing from the so-called forward position – closed bolt.

The weapon was designed for use only in automatic (semi-automatic) firing mode. It is intended for inclusion in the smallest combat units in the role of “accompanying artillery”. The weapon is expected to be worn for a long time in combat readiness.

The same parameters as the RAG-30 predestined this weapon to be used to destroy live targets and light armored vehicles at longer distances. The effect of the VOG17 ammunition used, when the radius of the lethal effect is approx. 7.5 m, easy maneuverability in the field and easy operation determine this weapon as a very effective element to stop the combat activity of the opponent at longer distances.

It is also possible to use the same type of tripod as for the AGS-17.

The AGL-30 grenade launcher is similar to the AGS-17 grenade launcher with the same purpose and is also suitable for mounting vehicles, ships, helicopters, etc.
